BH-100SS HOB Skimmer

The BH-100SS is similar to the BH-100 but instead of having the skimmer pump taking water from 4 inches below the surface of the aquarium this model has a surface cup that allows the protein rich surface water drained into the surface collection cup which allows for better protein skimming efficiency. The Reef Octopus® skimmers are powered by the Hailea OTP pumps. They are built with high quality acrylic. The Octopus skimmers uses metric plumbing parts. The pump has an improved venturi design and pinwheel impeller. We developed a new pinwheel impeller that is being provided on all of the BH100ss skimmers as of June 1.
