Merulina Coral begins as an encrusting coral but as it grows will form plates and fans that begin to resemble a head of cabbage. They should be given bright light and medium flow. They should be given space because their sweeper tentacles can reach up to 3" and damage neighboring corals. Most buyers will receive green or green and gold specimens of Merulina ampliata.
