Live Animals

Outside of Washington, livestock is only shipped overnight. When you order livestock, please select an overnight shipping option or a livestock flat rate option.* If you do not do so, we will be forced to cancel and refund your order. We currently do not ship livestock internationally. We do not charge for heat packs or packing materials. We currently utilize FedEx for all livestock shipments.

Shipping charges are based in part on the volume of your order. Merchandise that can be shipped in a box that holds less than 20 pounds and has interior dimensions of approximately 10" x 10" x 8" is subject to the following shipping options:

  • For orders that total $150-$299.99, before tax: Standard Overnight shipping rates as determined by the carrier, or a flat fee of $50, whichever is less.
  • For orders that exceed $300.00, before tax: Free Standard Overnight shipping.
  • Washington Livestock $15 Flate Rate
  • Oregon/Idaho Livestock $30 Flat Rate

If a larger box is required, regardless of order amount, you will be charged the difference between the cost of shipping your order in a small box and the cost of shipping your order in a larger box. We will contact you to discuss these charges.

* If you find you will need to pick up your order at the carrier’s distribution center closest to your location, please call us to make the proper arrangements.

Dry Goods

For all orders: Standard shipping rates apply for orders under $200. Orders over $200 may select free dry goods shipping. Heavy or freight shipments do not qualify.

Most orders will ship within 48 hours. We are able to ship dry goods internationally; however these arrangements must be made via email (info@barrierreefaquariums.com). Once your order has shipped, you will receive the tracking information in an emailed shipment notification. We also offer an in-store pickup option.
