The Long Tentacle Anemone can grow to roughly 20" and prefers to plant its base in a sand or rubble base at least 3" deep. It will host clownfish, usually Amphiprion perideraion and A. clarki. Other clownfish species sometimes adopt them as hosts as well. These anemones should be fed small pieces of fish, clams, or other meaty foods. Daily feeding is not required.
