Captive Bred Gold Flake Maroon

Description:
The Gold Flake Maroon is a variation of the Gold Stripe Maroon similar to the Gold Dot, except instead of dots there are larger amounts of additional barring down one or both sides of the fish. Sometimes the additional amount of barring is so much it can even make the bars connect. Like all Gold Stripe Maroons, the stripes start out white and turn yellow as they mature.

Behavior:
Like all clownfish, Premnas biaculeatus is a sequential hermaphrodite. The largest individual present will exert dominance and become reproductively female. The next largest fish will become reproductively male. The female will not tolerate other smaller individuals.
