Lionfish (Venomous)

We only source our wild fish from the finest suppliers. All fish are held a minimum of 48 hours before shipping. Our holding systems utilize copper treatment and the fish are dipped for flukes. We also medicate their food for internal worms. We will never knowingly ship a fish with a disease or parasite. Most fish listed on our site are in stock and ready to ship. Occasionally, we will need to order your fish, and hold them, before shipping.  In the rare case this happens, we will notify you to make sure you do not wish to cancel your order. The fish in this category are highly susceptible to the parasite ich. We highly recommend proper quarantine before they are placed in a display tank.

CAUTION - The fish in this collection are venomous. They can deliver a sting that is very painful. For most people, it feels like a very bad bee sting, but it is possible to experience an allergic reaction that could be life-threatening. Please seek medical attention if stung.
