Purple Tip Sebae Anemone

Heteractis malu can be white, brown, or green and usually has purple tips. It’s body and tentacle color may shift once acclimated to aquarium life. The bright white color morph can often, but not always, be the result of bleaching. These may be more challenging than the light brown or green versions. Please specify if you want white or not in your order notes.

This anemone is very delicate, easily damaged, and can be difficult to stabilize, after it is first introduced, no matter which color you select. These should only be attempted by experienced hobbyists. A variety of clowns will host in it, and this can increase the chances of success. These anemones prefer to attach through the substrate and require strong lighting.

Feeding it meaty foods once per week should suffice.
