Bicolor Foxface

The Bicolor Foxface (Siganus uspi), also know as the Two Barred Rabbitfish, is generally considered reef safe with caution. When underfed, they may  nip at LPS and Soft Coral. Rabbitfish may be housed with more aggressive fish. Rowdy fish usually leave it alone because of its venomous dorsal spines. They can be aggressive towards other Rabbitfish, though not always. It needs a 60"+/125+ gallon aquarium, when full grown. The aquarium should have lots of rock to hide in, and plenty of space to swim around. The diet of this fish should contain a large amount of marine based seaweed and algae. Rabbits will eat meaty foods, but frequent feedings of dried seaweed products like Sea Veggies or Seaweed Select are optimal for long term success.  Rods & LRS Herbivore formulas are excellent options to supplement their diet with. They will also consume many varieties of macro and micro algaes, sometimes including Valonia. Max size is around 10". Shipping size is S/M - Medium 3" - 4".
