Coral Banded Shrimp
The Coral Banded Shrimp is another shrimp suitable for reef aquariums. It does have large pinchers on its third set of legs and has been known to use them against other small invertebrates and fish. This is fairly uncommon and they generally work well in most reef settings. Only male/female pairs can co-exist in the same aquarium. They can reach sizes around 3" (6" with antennae) and should be given adequate space. Like most shrimp a diet made up of brine, mysis, flakes, and pellets will be suitable.
