The Cabbage Leather Coral (Sinularia brassica) is found in a variety of colors, usually tan to brown with lighter striations. Under certain situations it can develop green undertones. Its flat, lobed appearance resembles a cabbage leaf.

It is semi-aggressive and needs space between itself and other corals in the reef aquarium. Some species are toxic to stony corals. It is very easy to maintain in the reef aquarium and makes an excellent coral for any skill level. It requires medium to high lighting combined with moderate to strong water movement to remove waste products and detritus accumulations.

Cabbage Leathers harbor zooxanthellae and receive the majority of their nutritional needs from photosynthesis. It will also be beneficial to supplement the diet with additional food such as micro-plankton, baby brine shrimp, or foods designed for filter feeding invertebrates.

You will receive a locally aqua cultured frag.
