Lettuce Sea Slug

A wonderful little algae eating sea slug that is completely reef safe. They eat filamentous algae including Bryopsis species. They incorporate the chloroplasts from the algae they eat into their tissue and depend on photosynthesis for some of their energy. Lettuce slugs can be damaged by the intakes of powerheads and care should be taken.
