Zebra Nerite

A very attractive algae eating snail. They are often confused for the nasty little sundail snails that prey on Zoanthids. Zebra Nerites are reef safe. These Nerite Snails come from the inner tidal areas of the Caribbean and have a rounded shell. This snail does not grow very large. They are wonderful scavengers for reef aquariums as they remain small and with their rounded shells, rarely knock over rocks or corals in the aquarium.
